We are looking for highly motivated PhDs for a newly established collaboration of the University of Cologne and a private Research center in Ukraine to work as group leaders within the newly founded Private Life Research Institute in Kiev.

Your future working place: A 3500 m2 modern and fully equipped laboratory building containing all facilities for high standard stem cell research including cell biological, molecular biological, microscopical research. The institute is also linked to a modern animal house for small and large animal studies, clean room facility and a clinic. It is located outside of Kiev in the nice landscape of the great lakes of Kiev and contains all modern facilities, techniques and methods for stem cell research with translation to clinical application. The focus is on technology improvement and application availability. The work will be performed in close collaboration with the Institute of Physiology and Pathophysiology at the University of Cologne which is one of the leading Institutions in the field of stem cell research in Germany and is regarded as one of the centres of excellence in stem cell research in Europe. Several murine and human ES and iPS cell lines and their genetically modified subclones, well-established differentiation and transplantation protocols are available.
